Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders: RR vs KKR Dream11 Team Predictions

Rajasthan Royals managed just one win in four games on the back of some brilliance from their South African duo of David Miller and Chris Morris. They will need more than just the two to fire if are they are to finish any higher than they did last year. More importantly, they will need their skipper Sanju Samson to step up. After his century in the opening game, he has failed miserably.

Kolkata Knight Riders too are going through same phase after winning a thriller against the Rajasthan Royals in their opening game, they have lost their next three games. MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings completely dominated Kolkata Knight Riders in their last game.

The two teams will face each other on Saturday night in 18^th game of IPL 2021. This will be the 5^th game of the season for both the teams.

Batsman: S Gill, N Rana and R Parag.

RR vs KKR Dream11 Team Predictions: Wicket Keeper

Dinesh Karthik came to the crease when KKR were 31 for 4. KKR batsmen had no options but back his natural abilities in order to get close to the steep target.

RR wicket keeper Jos Buttler missed the straight one from Siraj and was out for 8 against RCB.

Sanju Samson disappointed once again. After doing all the hard work of seeing away the new ball, he chipped a short ball from Sundar to mid-wicket. He managed to make 21 runs of 18 balls against RCB.

RR vs KKR Dream11 Team Predictions: Batsman

Another failure for Manan Vohra as he lofted the ball from Jamieson in the air but didn’t find the required distance to clear mid-on. He went for 7 runs in his last match against RCB.

David Miller did not trouble the scorers and became victim of toe-crushing yorker from Siraj against RCB.

Riyan Parag stitched a partnership with Shivam Dube which helped RR to reach the score of 177 against RCB. He scored 25 runs off 16 balls.

Chasing a mammoth target of 221 against CSK, Kolkata Knight Riders didn’t get the desired start. They lost Shubman Gill in the first over after the right-hander produced a thick edge that travelled straight to the third-man giving Chahar his first of his 4 wickets in the match.

Nitish Rana was cramped by D Chahar, he hit the ball in the air and the CSK skipper MS Dhoni safely collected the ball. He scored runs of 12 balls with couple of boundaries.

Eoin Morgan’s dismal performance continued in the match against CSK. He was sent packing for run a ball 7 by D Chahar.

Rahul Tripathi scored 8 runs off 9 balls with a strike rate of 88.88 against CSK.

RR vs KKR Dream11 Team Predictions: All rounder

Rahul Tewatia was striking it clean against RCB as he smashed Siraj for a four and six each before the right-arm pacer got the better of the left-hander and ended his fine knock of 40.

KKR’s Andre Russell tried to rescue his team with his power hitting but was unlucky, as he was bowled around his legs by Sam curran for 54 runs with a strike rate of 245.45 with 3 fours and 6 sixes.

RR’s Shivam Dube looked good in the middle, Maxwell took a brilliant catch in the outfield to dismiss the left-hander, who fell four short of his fifty. 

C Morris came to bat at the end of the innings against RCB and managed to score just 7 runs and remained wicketless.

Playing his first match of the season against CSK, Sunil Narine gave away 34 runs in 4 overs for 1 wicket.

RR vs KKR Dream11 Team Predictions: Bowlers

Pat Cummins didn’t have a great day against CSK with the bowl but surprisingly he compensated it with the bat by hitting 6 sixes and 4 boundaries for his 66.

V Charkravarthy was the pick of the bowlers for KKR against CSK. He went for just 27 runs in his 4 overs picking one wicket.

Prasidh Krishna was the most expensive bowler for KKR he went for 49 runs in his 4 overs with an economy of 12.24 against CSK.

There is nothing to much talk about Rajasthan Bowlers because none of the bowlers’ were successful against RCB.

Shreyas Gopal and M Rahman had an economy of 11.66 and 9.71 against RCB.

Rajasthan Royals will depend on young Chetan Sakariya if they are looking forward to registering a win. Chetan has so far delivered 182 Dream11 points.

Jaydev Unadkat was dropped in last match, he may be brought back as RR desperately needs a good bowling attack.
