South Sydney’s Cody Walker prompted Sunday’s uncalled-for episode with Bulldogs five-eighth Lachlan Lewis in NRL 2021. As per reports, South Sydney’s five-eighth taunted Lachlan Lewis to: “Go back to reserve grade.” The diss from Walker was enough to trigger Lewis, who then tackled Walker to the ground, while the players were leaving the pitch. This caused a ruckus on the ground, which ultimately lead to the suspension of Lewis.

Walker said the aforementioned sentence to point out the fact the Lewis is set to run out of contract at the end of the season. While walking towards the dressing room, Lewis gave a tap on Walker’s backside, to which the Rabbitohs’ No. 6 took offense. Walker furiously asked him “Go back to reserve grade” and it was then, Lewis decided to take him down.
