Italy vs Spain Prediction and Odds: Preview

Mancini called up a squad of 23 players but with a number of players already injured the former Manchester City manager has been forced to call in some replacements.

Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Donnarumma (Paris Saint Germain), Alex Meret (Napoli), Salvatore Sirigu (Genoa)

Defenders: Francesco Acerbi (Lazio), Alessandro Bastoni (Inter), Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus), Giovanni Di Lorenzo (Napoli), Emerson Palmieri (Lyon), Rafael Toloi (Atalanta)

Midfielders: Nicolò Barella (Inter), Bryan Cristante (Roma), Jorginho (Chelsea), Manuel Locatelli (Juventus), Lorenzo Pellegrini (Roma), Matteo Pessina (Atalanta), Marco Verratti (Paris Saint Germain)

Forwards: Domenico Berardi (Sassuolo), Federico Bernardeschi (Juventus), Federico Chiesa (Juventus), Ciro Immobile (Lazio), Lorenzo Insigne (Napoli), Giacomo Raspadori (Sassuolo).

Moise Kean and Davide Calabria have already replaced Immobile and Rafael Toloi respectively.

It has also been reported that injured Matteo Pessina could be replaced by AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali.

Spain too has faced similar issues as Enrique also called in some reinforcements.

Goalkeepers: Unai Simon, David de Gea, Robert Sanchez.

Defenders: Cesar Azpilicueta, Pedro Porro, Eric Garcia, Pau Torres, Aymeric Laporte, Inigo Martinez, Sergio Reguilon, Marcos Alonso.

Midfielders: Sergio Busquets, Rodri Hernandez, Pedri, Mikel Merino, Koke, Gavi, Marcos Llorente, Pablo Fornals.

Forwards: Ferran Torres, Pablo Sarabia, Mikel Oyarzabal, Yeremi Pino.

Pedri withdrew his name from the squad and Celta Vigo’s Brais Mendez has replaced him.

Marcos Llorente also pulled out for an injury and Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil has joined the squad in his place.

Like in the European Championship Enrique felt to Real Madrid players capable of playing in his team and thus for the second time in a row he decided not to call any players from Los Blancos.

Italy is also hosting the other semifinal France vs Belgium in Turin and the final will also be played at the San Siro on 10th October. The Azzuri are currently on a 27 game unbeaten run and are tipped to be the favorites to lift the trophy on their home soil.

With all the potential attackers currently out on the sidelines, Enrique will only have the luxury to use Alvaro Morata and Mikel Oyarzabal as a false nine as it stands.

Ander Herrera and Brahim Diaz were expected to get a call-up but they were ignored.

Barring Keane, Calabria, Tonali, and Pellegrini the rest of the squad remains the same which lifted the European Championship trophy at Wembley.
