Wolves vs Newcastle Head to Head: Newcastle Lead Overall H2H Tally
Wolves will host Newcastle United in the Premier League at Molineux on 2nd October.
Bruno Lage’s team registered their second win over Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium and will be back at their fortress in a bid to get their Premier League campaign back on track.
Newcastle is yet to record a win in the Premier League this season and Steve Bruce’s future is hanging over a thread. The Toons have managed to give the relegation zone a slip due to their superior goal difference but any further mishap would definitely pile more misery on them.
Wolves’poor run of form at their home ground is a worry for their Portuguese manager. The Midland giants have failed to score a single goal at Molineux at the start of the season and even had to digest a bitter defeat at the hands of newly-promoted Brentford.
Raul Jimenez’s return to form could be a massive boost for Wolves who needs some inspiration in the attacking third to end their scoring woes.
Newcastle played two back to back 1-1 draws and will try to bank on Wolves’ disappointing home form. They had their chances in the last two games but couldn’t make it count for some poor finishing.
