They are likely to dip into a more data-driven club which could bring the best out of each player.

However, the Magpies cannot wait till the January window as it could have an effect on their Premier League status. Howe could redevelop the player he has at the club currently as it is not possible to change the entire squad in one window. He needs to make sure the club further doesn’t deepen in the relegation zone further as it would be difficult for the manager to reinstate their Premier League status.

Defensive frailties have been Newcastle’s main problem and Howe must address the situation in the January transfer window.

Brentford’s rich vein form was expected to steer them through the difficult stretch of festive part but they have failed to maintain their momentum and now the onus is on themselves to get back to winning ways.
