Man City vs Brighton Prediction: City to Win
Manchester City is predicted to win their away encounter with Brighton & Hove Albion according to the latest Man City vs Brighton Prediction
Brighton & Hove Albion will host English champions Manchester City on Saturday in the Premier League. The match will be played at Amex Stadium at 5.30 PM.
The Seagulls have been high flying this season and are currently just two points adrift of third placed Manchester City. Graham Potter has made his side look like a well drilled unit and City won’t have an easy task on its hand. Brighton has earned the plaudits for their clean and crisp approach towards the game but it remains to be seen how they manage to tackle the reigning English champions in the next clash.
City thrashed Club Brugge 5-0 in the Champions League and will be aiming to carry that momentum to Brighton. With Manchester United hosting Liverpool City will have a chance to reduce the gap with Jurgen Klopp’s side. City’s recent record proved that they fail to win their subsequent league match after a Champions League win but now it’s time to break the shackles.
Brighton came back from two goal behind to register a famous 3-2 victory at Amex Stadium back in May but looking at the current form the Seagulls are unlikely to repeat that feat.

Man City vs Brighton Prediction and Odds: Recent Form
Three draws in the last three matches has somehow hurt Brighton’s progress. Despite dominating proceedings against Norwich City they couldn’t make it count. Seven shots on target did tell about their intentions but the bottom placed the Canaries fled away with a crucial one point.
They also should have buried Arsenal but lacked that cutting edge against the Gunners which could haunt them in the future. They might have just scored eight goals but their defensive solidity has continued to provide them assurance as only Chelsea and Manchester City have leaked fewer goals than them.
Brighton’s only defeat came against Everton in the league and their defensive rigidity might cause serious problems for Pep Guardiola’s free flowing passing football.

City hasn’t had the desired start as they narrowly lost to Nuno Espirito Santo’s Tottenham Hotspur in their first game as a Heung-min Son goal was enough to keep the two teams aside. But they were quick to brush aside their disappointing start as they pumped in five goals past Norwich City and Arsenal in successive games.
They toiled hard to beat Leicester City and then played a goalless draw against Southampton.
They defeated Chelsea but couldn’t get past Liverpool as they were held in a 2-2 draw. They restored their winning habit with a 2-0 win against Burnley and will try to continue their unbeaten run. A number of draws have made it difficult for their Premier League ambitions but they have done it numerous times under the guidance of Guiardiol and know how to turn the tide.

Pep has managed Barca, Bayern Munich and Manchester City (years after their takeover). At which point can Pep ever say he managed Porto (and won a UCL title with them), or managed a team that wasn’t number 1 in the league / financially dominant. He’s not in the SAF / Jose chat.
